Finally I've had some time to test out alpha map way of texturing and the latest Noggit, together they work amazing, let's hope Noggit dev won't die :)

I would presonally group trees a little bit more, right now most of the trees are standing completely alone. Which seems a little bit odd to me. I'd also recommend to experiment a little bit with highlighting raised spots on terrain with vertex paint.

Aside from these two minor things, this looks amazing.

Yes, I think you are right about those trees, a bit of grouping would help. Actually I haven't had time yet to get my hands on the vertex paint, beside a few experiments, I will have to fix that untill next time :D

Working on pain called getting Medieval 2: Total War meshes opened in 3D software. It finally works (y).

 

Btw, a quick question, is anyone here right now retro-porting Legion WMOs into WotLK without getting loads of Noggit crashes and similiar issues?

Just started working on a zone, haven't had time recently because of various exams for school so it feels good to be back. :D
